The Bakersfield Newcomers is a social club, mostly made up of women just like yourself. Some are homemakers, some are moms and some work full or part time. The one thing we all have in common is that we are new residents of Bakersfield, California. Our goal is to help newcomers become oriented to life in Bakersfield, and to promote good fellowship among members.
So... if you have recently moved to town or have lived here less than two years, come join in our activities and meet new people while having fun. You will find opportunities for both through the Newcomers' Club.
The Bakersfield Newcomers Club was founded in 1949, so we have plenty of experience helping people like you make new friends and feel welcome here in Bakersfield.
